And just like that…
After a blood transfusion on our ailing mother who’s suffered a debilitating stroke, a miscalculation on my fathers part has him infected with covid!
Timeline as I remember:
Aug 16-19: Mama had to go for blood transfusion. Successful. went home soon after
Aug 24 (tuesday): papa is complaining about not feeling well. He reasoned aircon exposure on Aug 21 caused it.
Aug 29 sunday): Papa asked to be taken to hospital. Hes had difficulty breathing. But hospital is full. Swab test done. They went back home with my brother Ron.
Aug 30 (Monday): Tried going to hospital again. Midway in Aringay they returned back. False alarm on PCR test.
Aug 31 (tuesday): Finally, went early morning 6AM to ITRMC hospital. Xray showed onset of pneumonia. Xray showed from August 29 to Sep 1 that his xray went from bad to worse. panic ensued. so he had to go to O2 support.
Sep 1 (wednesday): mama is out of breath too. She was picked up by ambulance around 7PM .Went to Lorma Hospital. Can sense some desperation on our family. Went to FB to bare my heart and soul. Asked for Prayers! I can sense the Lord is moving on this time already, when prayers began.
Sep 2 (thursday): Papa and Mama O2 intake 5L/min, believe this is max. Had to continuously monitor.
Sept 3 (friday): Papa’s bday. Still not able to talk over the phone. but good news, O2 down from 5 to 2-3L/min! Praise GOD!
Sep 5 (Sunday): update FB on papa mama condition. Set up GOFUNDME drive.
